Rachel Shapiro

Rachel Shapiro is an experienced educator currently serving as Lead Educator and Academic Educator at UTEC since March 2023. Prior to this role, Rachel worked at Gann Academy from September 2017 to August 2022 as a History Teacher, Academic Advisor, and Lacrosse Coach. Earlier experience includes positions at Malden Public Schools as a Substitute Teacher and Student Teacher, and various roles at Fernwood Cove, including Counselor-In-Training Program Counselor and Assistant Head of Waterfront. Rachel also worked as a Language and Culture Assistant at NALCAP. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the same institution. Additional educational experiences include study at the Universidad de Sevilla and attendance at the Park School of Baltimore.
