Mary Kate Cowell

Mary Kate Cowell currently serves as the Vice President of Retail Operations at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, a position held since July 2012. Prior to this role, Mary Kate was a Retail Manager and Buyer at the same institution. Experience includes working as a Jr Buyer at J&R Music and Computer World for a brief period in early 2012, and as a Sales Manager at OgoSport LLC from March 2011 to February 2012. Earlier professional roles include Buyer and Director of Merchandising, as well as Retail Store Manager at Magic Beans from January 2008 to December 2010. Mary Kate Cowell earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design between 2003 and 2007.
