Morris Vogel is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in the museum and academic sectors. Currently serving as President Emeritus of the Tenement Museum since October 2019, Morris Vogel previously held the position of President at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum from May 2008 to June 2017. Prior to this, Morris Vogel was a Professor Emeritus at Temple University, where a significant academic career spanned from 1973 to 2008. Additionally, from 2004 to 2006, Morris Vogel was the Program Director at The Rockefeller Foundation. Morris Vogel earned a PhD in History from the University of Chicago and a BA in History from Brandeis University.
