Derek Collins

Derek Collins has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Derek currently serves as the Senior Director of Business Planning at Tenet Healthcare since January 2022. Prior to that, Derek worked at McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager from August 2019 to December 2021. Derek also had a previous role as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company in 2018. Before joining McKinsey, Derek was employed at DaVita Kidney Care, where they held the positions of Manager, Home Modalities from January 2015 to July 2017, and Analyst, Corporate Strategy from March 2013 to January 2015. Derek has also worked as a Teaching/Research Assistant and Training Module Developer at Brigham Young University from April 2010 to December 2012. In addition, Derek has internship experience at DaVita Kidney Care and Saint Vincent Catholic Hospitals. At Saint Vincent Catholic Hospitals, they supported the director of business development, focusing on tasks such as designing new report formats, researching competing systems, and improving contract alignment.

Derek Collins pursued their education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management. Prior to that, they attended Brigham Young University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor's degree in Finance. During their time at Brigham Young University, Derek pursued a double major in Business Finance and Sociology.
