Joe Cottone has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Joe started their career in GE, where they initially participated in the Edison Engineering Leadership Program from 1993 to 1995. Joe then transitioned to the Corporate Audit Staff role from 1995 to 1999. In 1999, they joined NBCUniversal Media, LLC as the Division CFO and VP of Business Development, remaining with the company until 2004. From 2004 to 2009, Joe served as a Sr. Operating Partner for Cerberus Capital Management and their owned portfolio companies. Since 2009, they have been the Managing Director at Tenex Capital Management.
Joe Cottone graduated from the University of Maryland in 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Joe studied at the university from 1989 to 1993.
