Karen Wuerfl

Karen is a senior operations/technology executive and leader who has spent her entire career in the construction industry. She is passionate about her goal: help companies prosper by combining business acumen, operational excellence and optimal use of technology. Prior to starting her own consulting company, she spent most of her career as the CIO of J.F. White Contracting Co, a heavy civil construction company based in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated with an electrical engineering degree from Northeastern University and has served many roles in the construction industry including Project Engineer, Cost/Project Control Manager, and Vice President of IT and Administration. She has extensive ERP and acquisition integration experience. This background, along with adept leadership skills enables her to motivate teams, drive process improvement and enhance the collaboration between operations, accounting and IT resulting in increased margins.

Karen has participated on several boards and committees including AGC National IT Forum Steering Committee, Viewpoint industry Advisory Board, Construction Industries of Massachusetts, Women in Transportation, J.F. White Executive Committee and National Association of Women in Construction.
