Paul Bester

Paul Bester has a strong background in IT leadership and management. Paul is currently the Director Global IT Infrastructure and Operations at Tennant Company. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director Software Engineering at Solera, Inc. and the Sr. Director of Technology at Explore Information Services. At Explore Information Services, they were responsible for software engineering, infrastructure, IT operations, and data security solutions. Paul also has experience as the President of MACCIM Solutions and as the IS Director, Infrastructure at Hennepin County Medical Center. Their earlier roles include Vice President, IT at Hennepin Faculty Associates and National Practice Director at Analysts International Corporation. Paul has a diverse range of experience in managing technology platforms, overseeing core infrastructure, leading software development, and driving revenue growth.

Paul Bester holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with Merit from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Paul also participated in the Center for Business Excellence Leadership Program at the University of St. Thomas. In terms of certifications, they obtained an ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2016, and they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance in June 2017.
