Gültekin Şamil Hazer

Gültekin Şamil Hazer has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Gültekin Şamil began their career as a Technician at Carleton University in 2003 and later worked as a Field Technician at Regulvar Inc. In 2004, they joined Husky Injection Molding Systems as a Designer before transitioning to OCDSB as a Technician.

In 2006, Gültekin joined Hyundai Assan as a Localization Engineer and then moved on to Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation in 2007. At Federal-Mogul, they held various positions including Sourcing Manager, Technical Manager, and Purchasing Manager EMEA / SA.

In 2018, Gültekin joined Federal-Mogul Motorparts as the Director of Quality Management before moving to Tenneco in 2019. At Tenneco, they initially served as the Global Supplier Quality Manager for the Global Aftermarket division. Later, they were promoted to the role of Director of Quality Management, where they oversaw EMEA Regional Quality Management, APAC Supplier Quality, and led Quality 4.0 Projects for Aftermarket Manufacturing Plants. Gültekin's most recent role at Tenneco is Director of Manufacturing Engineering, a position they have held since March 2022.

Gültekin Şamil Hazer completed 3 years of engineering studies in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the Turkish Naval Academy from 1997 to 2000. Gültekin Şamil then obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University, studying from 2001 to 2005. Before that, they attended Heybeliada Naval College from 1994 to 1997 and Ankara Gazi Anadolu Lisesi from 1990 to 1994.
