Paul Nelson

Paul Nelson, CRE, CCM, MCIOB, MRICS, CFM, CFMJ has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Paul has worked as the Vice President of Global Real Estate, Facilities, and Indirect Procurement at Tenneco, where they were responsible for a $2.8 billion annual spend and oversaw various functions such as real estate, facilities, security, health and safety, and project management.

Prior to their role at Tenneco, Paul Nelson held the position of National Board and Chair of International at CMAA, a professional non-profit organization. Paul served in various chapter roles and is currently serving on the National Board as International Chairman.

Paul also served as a Board Member at Cherry Creek Schools Foundation.

Paul Nelson's previous roles include being the Vice President of Global Real Estate and Facilities at Arrow Electronics and at TeleTech, where they spearheaded the companies' environmental and sustainability programs.

Paul was also a Project Director at The Doe Run Company, where they managed the delivery of new facilities and developed long and short-term facilities strategies.

Before that, they were the Vice President of Operations at Integrated Project Management LLC, leading cross-functional teams and overseeing multimillion-dollar premier facilities.

Paul Nelson also worked as the Head of Velo and Eton Manor at London 2012, overseeing the standardized project controls for the Olympic and Para-Olympic Games facility constructions.

Their earlier experiences include being the Director of Facilities and Construction at VAN TUYL AUTO GROUP and the Director of Development at Spencer UK Ltd and Spencer USA Inc.

Overall, Paul Nelson has a wealth of experience in various leadership and management positions, with a focus on real estate, facilities, and procurement.

Paul Nelson attended Worthing College of Technology from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they obtained the Councilor Real Estate (CRE) certification from the Councilors of Real Estate.
