James Dye

Director Of Technology, TN Ecampus at Tennessee Board of Regents

James Dye has a diverse range of work experience. James currently works as an Instructional Technology Instructor at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Murfreesboro since 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at the Tennessee Board of Regents starting from 2004. These roles include Director of Technology, TN eCampus; Director of Technology, Interim; Senior Coordinator of Educational Technology Systems and Support Services; Coordinator of Faculty and Technical Services; and Assistant Coordinator of Faculty and Technical Services. Before joining the Tennessee Board of Regents, James worked at Deutsche Bank Securities as an Investment Assistant from 2000 to 2004. James also worked as a Computer Instructor at Cason Lane Academy from 1998 to 1999, where they taught computer skills to K-8 students and managed school IT systems.

James Dye obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, they pursued Communications at Michigan State University from 1988 to 1990, but did not complete a degree at that institution. In 2006, James also obtained a certification as a WebCT Certified Trainer from WebCT.
