Toby Compton has extensive experience in project management and legislative roles, currently serving in the TN Department of Economic & Community Development since 2011. Previously, Toby worked as Legislative Director for the Metro Government - Mayor's Office from 2007 to 2011, and held the position of Director of Marketing and Communications at Snappy Auctions from 2005 to 2007. Toby also served as Executive Director for the Associated General Contractors of Tennessee from 2003 to 2005. Early career experiences include Account Executive roles at The Ingram Group from 2000 to 2003 and Gish, Sherwood & Friends in 1999. Toby's educational background includes studies at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, Lipscomb University, and Davidson Academy, culminating in a preparatory degree.
