Bert Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bert started their career in 1998 as the Legislative Director to Congressman John J. Duncan, Jr. in the U.S. House of Representatives. After that, they joined March of Dimes in 2005 as the Regional Director of Public Affairs. In 2008, they joined Tennessee Valley Authority where they held various roles including Manager, Valley Relations and Senior Program Manager, Valley Relations. Their most recent position at Tennessee Valley Authority was as the Director, District, State & Local Government Relations. Currently, they serve as the Director, Government & Community Relations, East Region at Tennessee Valley Authority.
Bert Robinson completed the Executive Candidate Leadership Development Program at TVA / Center for Creative Leadership in 2012. In 2011, they also completed the Leadership and Management for Accelerated Performance program at TVA / Vanderbilt University. Prior to these programs, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
