Manu Sivaraman has extensive work experience in the nuclear industry. Manu started their career in 2000 as an Engineering Watch Supervisor and Naval Instructor in the US Navy. In 2009, they joined Entergy as an Engineering Project Manager and Shift Technical Advisor. Sivaraman then moved to PPL Corporation in 2012, where they held various leadership roles in commercial nuclear power generation. Manu served as a Nuclear Operations Manager and held positions such as BWR4 SRO/Operations Outage Manager, Shift Manager, and AOM-Shift. In 2018, Sivaraman joined Talen Energy as the General Manager of Engineering, overseeing engineering strategy for 150 personnel and managing major projects. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at the Tennessee Valley Authority as the Vice President of Nuclear Projects, responsible for project oversight and long-term asset management. Currently, Sivaraman is serving as the Site Vice President of the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant at the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Manu Sivaraman holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Finance, Risk, and Strategy from Temple University. Manu also completed the Finance for Executives Program at The Wharton School. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior University. Manu has obtained additional certifications in Operational Risk Management from MIT Professional Education and has completed the Senior Nuclear Plant Manager Course through INPO. Manu also holds a Senior Reactor Operator License granted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) operates a public power system and supplies power in Tennessee, northern Alabama, northeastern Mississippi, and southwestern Kentucky and in portions of northern Georgia, western North Carolina, and southwestern Virginia. The Company manages the Tennessee River, its tributaries and certain shorelines to provide navigation, flood damage reduction and electricity, among others. The Company is a wholesaler of power. The Company sells power to local power company customers of TVA (LPCs), which then resell power to their customers at retail rates. TVA's LPCs consist of municipalities and other local government entities (municipalities), and customer-owned entities (cooperatives). TVA has approximately three nuclear sites consisting of over six units in operation and approximately one unit under construction. The Company's transmission system has approximately 70 interconnections with over 10 neighboring electric systems.
