Rick Buchanan

Rick Buchanan is an experienced Senior Project Manager at Tennessee Valley Authority, leading an enterprise contract management project since June 2010. Previous roles at TVA include Director of Enterprise Architecture and Programs, where Rick established the agency's future IT direction, and Director of Capital Allocation and Portfolio Management, supervising a 35-person team and managing significant capital expenditures. Additionally, as Director of Revenue, Rick oversaw billing for TVA power customers, managing over $11 billion in annual sales. Earlier in Rick's career, work at the US Department of Energy involved leading energy-related financial assessments for a $24 billion agency. Rick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Augusta State University.
