David J. Hinson

David J. Hinson is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Interim Chief Information Officer at East Central University and Chief Information Officer for both Eureka College and Tennessee Wesleyan University. Hinson has consistently collaborated with leadership, faculty, students, and staff to foster a culture of technology servant leadership and establish strategic foundations for academic success. Previous roles include executive positions at Drury University, Hendrix College, and technology leadership at various institutions such as Apogee, where Hinson provided hands-on strategic leadership and developed future-proof technology strategies. Hinson holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Tennessee Technological University.
