Michalis Seiragakis

Michalis Seiragakis has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry, specializing in the electrical engineering and commissioning of offshore wind projects. Michalis started their career as an intern at WES Wind Energy Solutions in 2012 before joining Van Oord as an Electrical Engineer in 2013. In 2016, Michalis founded Ergowind BV, an electrical engineering consultancy focused on offshore wind projects. Michalis also worked as an Electrical-Commissioning Engineer at Vattenfall and as a Commissioning Manager and Electrical Package Manager at MERKUR Offshore GmbH. Michalis has also held roles at Elia as an O&M strategy consultant and at Ørsted as an Electrical Engineer and Consultant. Most recently, they worked at TenneT as a Sub Project Lead for HV systems. Additionally, Michalis has owned Olive&Sea Villas since 2021. Michalis will join Baltic Power as an HV Lead Engineer/Commissioning Manager in June 2023.

Michalis Seiragakis completed their education in a chronological order. Michalis first pursued their Diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 2003 to 2009. Following that, they obtained their MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology from 2010 to 2013. Lastly, they enrolled at the Open University of Cyprus to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, which they completed from 2019 to 2022.
