Siddharth Rajagopal

Siddharth Rajagopal is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as Sub Project Lead (Electrical Specialist) for a 2GW HVDC system at TenneT TSO B.V. since April 2024, overseeing the implementation and verification of employer requirements in collaboration with contractors. Previously, Siddharth worked at McDermott International, Ltd. as an Electrical Engineer focused on HV/MV power systems and performed extensive electrical design across multiple project phases. Experience also includes a role as an Electrical Power Design Engineer at Plug Power, where designs for hydrogen projects were developed, and as an Electrical Project Engineer at International Steel Service Inc., contributing to the maintenance and upgrade of a 3.2MW plant. Early career experiences included a Graduate Trainee position at Steel Authority of India Limited and an internship at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. Siddharth holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai.
