Carolyn Broderick

Carolyn Broderick has a diverse work experience in the field of sports medicine. Carolyn is currently working as the Medical Director for the Australian Olympic Team for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Medical Officer for Tennis Australia and was also a Team Physician for the Australian Women's Tennis Team. Carolyn has also worked as a Staff Specialist at the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network and as an Associate Professor at UNSW. Additionally, they have been involved in various roles in organizations such as Sport Integrity Australia, the National Rugby League, and the Australian Olympic Committee. Carolyn has also served as a team physician for the Australian Women's Basketball Team and the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby Union Football Club.

Carolyn Broderick holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medicine from the University of Sydney. Carolyn also has a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from UNSW. Carolyn completed their Fellowship of the Australasian College of Sport & Exercise Physicians (FACSP) between 1993 and 1996. Carolyn completed their high school education at MLC Sydney, where they obtained their Higher School Certificate (HSC).
