Melissa Ryan

Melissa Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Melissa is currently working at Tennis Australia, where they hold the position of Director of Remuneration & People Services. Prior to this, they served as the Head of People & Culture Advisory at Tennis Australia. Before Tennis Australia, Melissa worked at Bupa for a significant period of time. Their roles at Bupa include General Manager Capability, Change & Engagement, General Manager Operations, Customer Growth, Head of People, HR Business Partner, (Interim) Head of People Support, Acting People Director Health Insurance, and HR Business Partner. Melissa started their career at Australia Post and held various positions such as Head of HR Retail Services, Manager HR Retail Transformation, Senior Workplace Relations Consultant, Senior Human Resources Adviser, Manager of Merchandise and Product Analysis, and Merchandising Coordinator.

Melissa Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Business in Retail Management from Victoria University between 1992 and 1996. Later, in 2006 and 2007, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Law with a focus on Workplace and Employment Law at Monash University.
