Stephen Woods

Stephen Woods has a significant amount of work experience across various industries. Stephen started their career as a Legal Intern at Conde Nast, where they supported the legal, licensing, and contract teams. Stephen then worked as a Contracts Associate, responsible for content acquisition, rights research, and pre-publication legal issues for multiple publications. Later, they served as a Senior Associate for GQ, Architectural Digest, Allure, and all digital properties at Conde Nast, overseeing the drafting and negotiation of editorial content and services contracts.

Following their time at Conde Nast, Stephen co-founded Player One Go, a pop duo focused on providing audiovisual experiences. Stephen was responsible for production, songwriting, sound design, and visual content creation.

Stephen then joined Tennis Channel, initially as an Associate Director, Business and Legal Affairs, where they drafted and negotiated agreements for on-air talent, content contributors, and programming agreements. Stephen later advanced to the role of Director, Business and Legal Affairs, with responsibilities including agreements for talent, content contributors, programming, advertising, marketing partners, and sports organizations.

Stephen also had experience as a television co-host at StoryPond! and as the Head of Music Development at DeTV Korea. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, rights agreements, content acquisition, and legal support.

Stephen Woods attended the University of Westminster from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a B.A. (Honours) in Commercial Music. Stephen then went on to attend New York Law School from 2007 to 2010, earning a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Entertainment Law. In 2014, Stephen became a member of the State Bar of New York through the New York State Bar Association.
