Alan Carlisle

Alan Carlisle currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Marqeta, overseeing the development of a comprehensive compliance management system. In addition to this role, Alan acts as a Strategic Advisor to various early-stage FinTech and RegTech companies, providing expertise in regulatory compliance. Alan has held multiple advisory positions, including at Public.com and Universal Ledger, and previously served as Regulatory Advisor and Enterprise Chief Compliance Officer at SoFi, where responsibilities included broad compliance oversight across various divisions. Alan’s extensive experience also includes positions at FlashFunders and SCF Securities, as well as committee membership at FINRA, contributing insights on regulatory trends. Educational qualifications include a Professional Certificate in Coding from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completion of compliance-related programs at Georgetown University and the American Bankers Association.
