Marilyn Shea

Marilyn Shea, PhD, serves as an Affective Needs Social Emotional Learning Teacher and Affective Needs English/Language Arts Teacher at Adams 12 Five Star Schools, where responsibilities include working with students in grades 6-12 who have Individualized Education Programs and exhibit challenging behaviors. With a background in special education, Marilyn has also held positions as a Special Education Teacher and Art Teacher at Tennyson Center for Children, returning to art education after initially starting their teaching career in that field. Prior experience includes serving as a Special Education Teacher/Interventionist in various elementary schools within Adams County School District 50, focusing on students with diverse disabilities. Marilyn holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership and Change in Special Education from Antioch University.
