Chris Pruitt has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Chris currently serves as the Regional Sales Manager at Tensar, a division of CMC, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, Chris worked at Maurice Pincoffs Company, Inc. from January 2020 to February 2022, where they held the position of Manager of Business Development. In this role, they researched potential industries and companies for the company's services, developed cost-effective marketing solutions, and attended trade shows to promote the company. Before that, Chris was a Sales Engineer at Tindall Corporation from October 2015 to December 2019, promoting and managing sales of precast, prestressed concrete solutions for construction projects. Chris also developed long-term relationships with customers. From August 2014 to September 2015, Chris worked as a Sales Manager at Gerdau Long Steel North America, where they generated project needs and goals, performed calculations for projects and managed contracts. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Contract Sales Rep at Gerdau from January 2008 to August 2014, where they established customer relationships, negotiated contracts, and ensured compliance with customer needs. Chris began their career as a Project Manager at the US Army Corps of Engineers from May 1995 to January 2008, where they demonstrated strong leadership skills, managed contracts, and developed medical planning projects.
Chris Pruitt received their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Chris attended the university from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Clemson University from 2002 to 2003.
