Don Herbert

Don Herbert has extensive work experience in the engineering and construction industry, particularly in the rail market. Don started their career at Contech in 2000, where they held roles such as Sales Manager and Sr. Regional Sales Engineer, responsible for promoting and selling various products in the civil market. In 2010, they became an Area Technical Manager with CONTECH Construction Products. In 2013, they returned to Contech as an Area Manager of SRPE and Reline Technologies, supporting the growth of drainage and sewer technologies. Don then held multiple roles at Contech Engineered Solutions, including Director of Rail Market and Account Manager Director Rail Market, where they managed and developed the company's portfolio of products in the rail market and supported the growth of steel and aluminum plate bridges and tunnels. In 2020, they joined Tensar, a division of CMC, as an Industry Market Manager Rail. Throughout their career, Don has demonstrated their expertise in sales, business development, and product positioning in the engineering and construction industry.

Don Herbert completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Manhattan College from 1985 to 1989.
