Gilbert Maldonado

Gilbert Maldonado has several years of work experience in the engineering industry. Gilbert began their career as a Project Manager at Certified Construction, LLC in 2008 and held the position until 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Project Civil Engineer at Weideman and Singleton, Inc., followed by a role as a Civil Engineer at Jacobs from December 2013 to December 2014. Gilbert then joined United Consulting in 2015 as a Field Geotechnical Engineer, where they conducted site visits and supervised Auger Cast Pile installation. Later in 2015, they transitioned to Norfolk Southern Corporation as a MOW Track Supervisor-Engineering Department, responsible for managing assets and maintenance of track structure. In 2016, Gilbert joined Tensar, a division of CMC, as a Business Development/Inside Sales Civil Engineer.

Gilbert Maldonado has a strong background in engineering education. Gilbert completed their undergraduate studies at Georgia State University Perimeter College in 2010, where they pursued a field of study in Engineering Science. Following this, they attended Southern Polytechnic State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2013. As they furthered their education, Gilbert Maldonado enrolled in Kennesaw State University - Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology to pursue a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, Gilbert Maldonado holds a certification in Advanced Leadership, obtained in December 2020 from The National Society of Leadership and Success.
