Jared Beshai

Jared Beshai has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. In 2017, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Rice University, researching Tropical Pollination Ecology, and a Palisade Insectary Seasonal Intern at the Colorado Department of Agriculture, where they worked with a team of scientists to collect, breed, and distribute biocontrol organisms. In 2018, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Rice University, researching Hydra Neuroengineering and Drosophila Social Evolution. In 2019, they worked as a Whitewater Raft Guide at Blazing Adventures, where they acted as a leader, instructor, and educator for groups of 3-35 people in the fast-paced whitewater environment. In 2020, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder and a Medical Device Design Engineering Intern at EsurgiBiotech. Currently, they are a Mechanical Engineer at Tensentric.

Jared Beshai obtained a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rice University between 2016 and 2020. In 2021, they obtained a Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systèmes. Jared is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
