Robert Zhu

Robert Zhu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Robert is currently working as a Staff Solution Architect at Supermicro since August 2022. Before that, they worked at Johnson Controls from September 2019 to August 2022, where they held the role of Solution Architect / Digital Application Engineer II. Prior to that, they briefly worked at Lanner Electronics Inc. as the Leader of PMO from April 2019 to September 2019.

Robert also has extensive experience at Delta Electronics Americas, where they held various roles. From May 2017 to April 2019, they served as the System Engineering Manager for Agema Systems, a distinguished flagship brand under Delta Network Inc. Robert was responsible for the development and total software solution for SDN bare-metal and white box products. Robert also held the position of Technical Sales Manager / Project Manager from April 2015 to April 2017.

Before joining Delta Electronics Americas, Robert worked at Telamon from September 2004 to May 2015. During their time there, they held several roles, including Engineering Manager, Sales Account Manager, Wireless Engineering Manager, and Project Engineer. Robert'sresponsibilities varied from optical and routing/switching network equipment deployment to RF network engineering and wireless radio testing.

Robert Zhu received a Master of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Zhu has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Microsoft Azure Cloud AZ-900 from Microsoft in April 2022, Cumulus Linux Boot Camp from Cumulus Networks in November 2017, and an Advanced Course on Tomahawk and Tomahawk II from Broadcom Limited in September 2016. Other certifications include Delta Energy Online EMS, Delta Intelligent Surveillance System, and LOYTEC Building Automation Management System from Delta Electronics, obtained in May 2015. Zhu also received the Cisco NCS2K Network Design and Test Turn-up Training Course from Cisco in March 2015, and the Design, Installation, maintenance and operation of BridgeWave Microwave Products certification from BridgeWave Communications in November 2014. Furthermore, they obtained the K225/227 Ciena 6500 and One Control Boot Camp from Ciena in September 2014, the OC-A certification from Ciena in May 2014, and the Tridium NiagaraAX certification from Tridium in March 2014. Zhu holds an O504 Optical Network Design & Proposal Tool Advanced Solutions Engineer certification from Ciena, obtained in April 2013. Other certifications include Certificates for Mobile Access MA2000 & VE commissioning & RF design from Corning (MobileAccess) in July 2012, the Ceragon Microwave Radio FibeAir/IP-10 Technical Training from Ceragon in April 2009, the Certified Cisco Optical Specialist-CQS-COS1 from Cisco in July 2008, and the Certified Tier 2 Field Engineer for Cisco WiMAX BWX Product from Cisco in April 2008. Zhu also obtained the OSHA Construction Course (29 CFR1926) certification from OSHA in February 2006, the IBWave DAS design software tool training course from IBWave in January 2006, the Certified Antenna Sweep Tester -Site Master Model certification from Anritsu in March 2005, and the iBwave Enterprise Version In-Building Wireless Design, Lvl 1 certification from iBwave Solutions Inc. in May 2014.
