Tarun Eswar is a Retail Associate at Staples, focusing on enhancing customer experience at the Shrewsbury location since October 2023. As the Author, Founder, and Developer of 365toJapan, Tarun has created a platform featuring weekly blogs on Japanese culture and education, collaborating with an editor and achieving over 4,000 global reads, while also launching a successful community haiku contest. Previous experience includes a Software Engineering Internship at Rakuten, where Tarun utilized LLMs to develop capabilities for GenerativeAI, and a Web Developer role at Tufts Financial Group, where a revamped application led to a 17% increase in user engagement. Additionally, a Software Engineering Internship at Rakuten SixthSense involved working as a full stack developer on a B2B monitoring platform. Tarun is currently pursuing education at Washington University in St. Louis with a dual enrollment at Worcester Polytechnic Institute after graduating from Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science at WPI.
