Wessam Gad El-Rab

Wessam Gad El-Rab is an experienced professional with a diverse work background. Wessam served as the Chief AI Officer at precision.ai from January 2018 onwards. In 2018, they also founded TensorGraph.io and held the position of Founder/CEO. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Trust Science from August 2017 to February 2018. Wessam also worked at Accenture as a Technical Architect Specialist from July 2012 to October 2015. During their tenure at Accenture, they were responsible for software cost estimates, managing proof-of-concept initiatives, and leading the architecture design phase of electronic claim reporting application for the Worker Compensation Board of Alberta. Before Accenture, Wessam served as a Senior Software Engineer at the Government of Alberta from May 2009 to July 2012. Wessam led the development of the Common Reporting Application, which is a reporting engine used by all applications in the Department of Energy. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Avotus from May 2006 to May 2009, where they implemented change requests for the Avotus ICM software and provided solutions for product issues. In 2020, Wessam founded Fluido.ai, a company that helps brands engage with customers automatically without sacrificing customer experience.

Wessam Gad El-Rab has a strong educational background in the field of computer science. Wessam earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from October 6 University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Wessam then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Louisville from 2000 to 2003. Building on their previous degrees, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computing Science at the University of Alberta from 2009 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Wessam Gad El-Rab has obtained certifications to further enhance their skills. Wessam became ITIL Certified in June 2005 with a certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) - Foundation. Furthermore, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer certification from Microsoft in July 2001.
