Senior Principal Engineer at Tenstorrent

Aydin Nabovati has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 2011, they interned at ASME as part of the Early Career Leadership Program. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at the University of Toronto as a Mitacs Elevate Post Doctoral Fellow and Research Associate, focusing on thermal transport modeling and flow simulation in electronic devices. In 2012, they joined AMD as a Member of Technical Staff and later became a Senior Member of Technical Staff. During their time at AMD, they received the #iAMDetermined award and served as the Thermal/Mechanical lead for the company's first liquid-cooled card with HBM and 2.5D package. In 2016, they joined Tesla as a Staff Engineer and progressed to the role of Senior Staff Engineer and then Principal Engineer. Finally, in 2023, they joined Tenstorrent Inc. as a Senior Principal Engineer.

Aydin Nabovati has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, which was obtained from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology from 2003 to 2005. Aydin'sBachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, completed from 1999 to 2003. Aydin also holds the certification of Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario, obtained in 2010.
