Dongyuan Zhan

Dongyuan Zhan's work experience includes roles as a Principal Engineer at Tenstorrent Inc. starting in March 2023, an ML Architect at Meta from December 2021 to January 2023, a Staff Design Engineer at ARM from September 2016 to December 2021, and a Member of Technical Staff at AMD from September 2012 to September 2016. In these roles, they conducted various tasks such as ML hardware/software co-design, competitive analysis, workload construction and characterization automation, datacenter CPU performance analysis, ML inference compute library prototyping and optimization, SoC power and thermal modeling, and firmware-based power management feature design and implementation.

Dongyuan Zhan completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from WHU University, Hubei Province, China, from 2002 to 2006. Afterwards, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy-PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, from 2007 to 2012.
