Guoqing Chen

Guoqing Chen is a highly experienced Physical Design Engineer currently working at Montage Technology, Inc. since October 2019, where contributions include developing top-level and block-level physical design flows for 12nm/16nm technologies. Prior experience includes serving as Physical Design Lead at HARC from April 2016 to September 2019, leading design activities and successfully tape-out high-performance CPU chips with 14nm technology. Guoqing Chen also held roles at AMD and Intel Corporation, focusing on advanced physical design technologies and technical leadership in clock network design. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester, alongside Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
