Sr. Product Director, Plantpredict at Terabase Energy

Jason Spokes, PE has a strong background in the power and energy industry, with experience spanning over two decades. Jason has held various engineering and leadership roles in reputable companies.

From 2000 to 2005, Jason worked as an Electrical Engineer III at Waldemar S. Nelson & Co, where they provided consulting engineering services for power system design projects in the Southeastern U.S.

In 2005, they joined Consolidated Edison as an Electrical Substation Engineer. During their time there, they led the design and implementation of new and upgraded high voltage substations in New York City.

In 2010, Jason moved to SunPower Corporation, where they served as the Manager of Project Electrical Engineering. Jason was responsible for the DC balance of system design for commercial and large-scale PV systems globally and managed a team of electrical engineers.

In 2015, they transitioned to HST Solar as the VP of Product. In this role, they managed the development of large-scale PV design and optimization software and provided electrical engineering and performance modeling consulting services for PV systems.

Jason joined Arup in 2018 as an Associate in the Energy Consulting group. Their work involved assisting clients with challenging engineering projects in energy systems planning, design, construction, and operation, particularly in the area of renewables, transmission and distribution infrastructure, energy storage, and microgrids.

Most recently, Jason has been working at Terabase Energy, starting in 2020 as the Director of Project Engineering and advancing to the position of Senior Director. In this role, they oversee project engineering and contributes to the successful execution of large-scale energy projects.

Jason Spokes, PE completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. Jason attended the university from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans, from 2001 to 2002.
