Geert-Jan Van Nunen

Geert-Jan Van Nunen is the current Chief Commercial Officer at Teraki. Geert-Jan has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).

Van Nunen began their telecommunications career in 1997 as a Senior Manager for Wholesale at Telfort. In this role, they were responsible for developing the company's MVNO strategy and expanding its market share. Geert-Jan left Telfort in 2004 to join Eurofiber as their Chief Commercial Officer.

In 2005, Van Nunen left Eurofiber to become an Interim Manager for Vodafone, debitel, and ING/Postbank. Geert-Jan held this position for two years before joining Macquarie Telecom as their Group Senior Manager in 2007. Van Nunen remained with Macquarie Telecom until 2010 when they founded C4me, a mobile payments and QR code company. Geert-Jan sold C4me in 2013 and joined Tele2 Netherlands as their Director of MVNO Alliances.

In 2017, Van Nunen left Tele2 Netherlands to join Teraki as their Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, they are responsible for developing Teraki's MVNO strategy and expanding its market share.

Geert-Jan Van Nunen has an MBA and a BBA from Nyenrode Business University, and a certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Internet of Things. Geert-Jan also has a degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
