Eric Lemaire, Eng. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Eric started their career as a Trainee technician in the automobile laboratory of the fluid transfer department at Hutchinson, where they developed a hydroacoustic test bench. Eric then worked as a Trainee in the Technology and Electronics Unit at Arnould (Legrand), followed by a Trainee position at the Alcatel Corporate Research Centre, Fibre Optics activity at École Polytechnique de Montréal. During this time, they gained experience in manufacturing optical couplers and fusion and drawing systems.
Eric then joined Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as a Research and Development Engineer, where they served as a team and project leader. Afterward, Eric worked at OCLARO as a Program Manager, responsible for the reliability and qualification of FBG-based products and project leader of NPI activities. Eric also trained and supported reliability engineers, planned product qualification, and participated in the risk analyses and improvement efforts.
In 2005, Eric joined TeraXion as a Process and Product Engineering Manager, where they contributed to the development, monitoring, and improvement of the Quality Management System. Eric also managed a team of quality engineers and defined quality policies. Eric later became the Quality Director, further overseeing the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and TeraXion quality objectives.
Eric Lemaire is currently working as an Evaluator of Quebec Performance Awards at Mouvement québécois de la qualité, and they serve as the Treasurer at 776 Rotary-Levis Squadron - Air Cadets of Canada.
