Teresa Lara-Meloy

Teresa Lara-Meloy is a seasoned mathematics education researcher currently serving as a Senior Math Ed Designer at TERC since August 2019. Prior to this role, Lara-Meloy worked at SRI International from February 2007 to August 2019, holding the positions of Senior Math Ed Researcher and Math Ed Researcher, where a strong focus on enhancing mathematics teaching methods and supporting teachers was evident. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the Education Development Center from 2004 to 2007, and faculty at Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla from September 2002 to December 2003. Earlier in the career, Lara-Meloy worked as a Research Assistant at TERC from 1999 to 2001. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Technology in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
