Max M. is an experienced professional with a diverse background in program management, marketing, and mental health services. Currently serving as Online Program Manager for Tergar Meditation Community since January 2015, Max oversees digital communications and marketing for over 70 annual events. Previously, at The Garrison Institute, responsibilities included web management and event promotion for initiatives focused on education, wellness, and climate change. Max’s early career includes roles as Operations Manager at CeuticalSoft, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Case Worker at Vinfen Corporation, and Child Development Counselor at New England Salem Children's Trust, highlighting a commitment to community service and support. With additional experience in restaurant management and commercial photography, Max holds a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Missouri and has pursued graduate coursework in Psychology and Education.

Tergar International
Tergar Meditation Community supports individuals, practice groups, and meditation communities around the world in learning to live with awareness, compassion, and wisdom. Grounded in the Tibetan Buddhist lineage of our guiding teacher, Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, our online and in-person programs are accessible to people of all cultures and faiths, and support a lifelong path toward the application of these principles in everyday life. Tergar International is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that develops and delivers Tergar programs, in partnership with our sister organization Tergar Asia. Tergar International is based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota, with a staff of 39 employees and core contractors who work in various locations around the world.
