Michael McAvoy has extensive experience in the wine industry, beginning in 2007 with The Charmer Sunbelt Group. Michael held various positions within the company, including Fine Wine Sales Manager, Director of Wine, and Wine Business Manager. In 2014, they became the MD State Manager for Treasury Wine Estates before transitioning to a role as MD/DC/DE Area Manager at Treasury Wine Estates in 2015. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Terlato Wines International Regional Manager for NC, VA, DC, MD, DE, and WV at Terlato Wine Group. Michael then moved on to Executive Bev in 2020, where they worked as a Trade Development Director until 2022. Michael briefly worked as the Regional Manager - Southeast at ROUND HILL CELLARS DBA RUTHERFORD WINE COMPANY before joining Terlato Wines again in 2023 as the Vice President of Sales for the East Division.
Michael McAvoy completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Loyola University Maryland in 2003. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution, completing it in 2013.
