Alessandro Borgia

Alessandro Borgia is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and computer vision, currently serving as a Senior Computer Vision/ML Engineer at Terminal Industries since February 2023. Borgia previously held roles as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at both Zenith Ai and AnyVision, where expertise in deep learning techniques for person re-identification and body attribute recognition was demonstrated. Additionally, a part-time engagement with the Defence Science & Technology Laboratory involved leading a successful project in Temporal Anomaly Detection, following recognition in a national challenge. Borgia holds a PhD in Electrical, Electronic and Computing Engineering from the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University, as well as BSc and MSc degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
