Neil Robertson

Neil Robertson is a distinguished academic and technology leader, currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Terminal Industries since January 2023, and Honorary Professor at Queen's University Belfast, where extensive research in Machine Learning for Computer Vision is conducted. Robertson's academic roles include Professorship and Directorship of Research in Image and Vision Systems at ECIT, and leadership of the Centre for Data Sciences and Scalable Computing. Previous experience encompasses positions such as Director and Chief Scientist at CattleEye, Chief Scientific Officer at Element Human, and CEO and Founder of Zenith Ai, where focus was on applied AI across genomics and drug discovery. Robertson has also co-founded Oosto and held academic positions at Heriot-Watt University and University of Oxford, alongside early research work in nuclear physics at British Energy. Educational foundations include a DPhil in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and an MSci in Physics from the University of Glasgow.
