Laura Handeland

Laura Handeland has been in the talent and recruitment space for over a decade. Laura began their career as a Flight Attendant for United Airlines in 2007. In 2008, they became an Admissions Associate at St. Ignatius College Prep and in 2011, they became a Senior Admissions Counselor at the University of San Francisco School of Law. In 2015, they joined Hired, Inc. as a Senior Manager of Candidate Operations and in 2017, they became Technical Director of Client Relations at Sourceress. In 2020, they joined Triplebyte as Head of Talent Community and in 2021, they became the Director of Talent Curation at Terminal. Throughout their career, they have managed teams of 30+ reports, built out benchmarking and success metrics for fulfillment teams, and worked on advancing marketplace performance, customer experience, and operational excellence.

Laura Handeland received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Theory and Literature/Writing from UC San Diego. Laura then went on to earn their Master of Arts degree in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco. In addition, they obtained a Nonprofit Management Certification from San Francisco State University's College of Extended Learning in April 2011 and a CBEST Certification from the California Teachers Association in August 2008.
