Iain Hay has extensive work experience in the field of software development and technical consultancy. Iain started their career as a Website Developer at SilverDoor International Serviced Apartments in 2010 and later worked as a Developer at Mr & Mrs Smith, where they led the development of the company's first iOS application and spearheaded the rebuild of their website.

In 2015, Iain joined Utility Warehouse as a Senior Software Engineer before transitioning to a role as a Contract Full Stack Developer and Technical Consultant at WMA in 2016. At WMA, they managed a global team and handled project and account management for key company accounts such as Disney and Netflix. Iain also had hands-on coding responsibilities and utilized various technologies based on client needs.

Following their time at WMA, Iain worked as a Contract React Developer at Dext, where they initially focused on creating a BAU process for bug fixing and later played a key role in building and managing new features for the site. Iain then moved on to VENTETE, where they served as a Contract Full Stack Developer.

Most recently, Iain worked at Making Hay Ltd as a Contract Full Stack Developer and Technical Consultant, collaborating with clients such as WMA, Disney, Hollywood Records, and Sony Music. In this role, they provided technical consultancy on integration decisions and ensured business requirements were met.

Currently, Iain is employed at Terminalfour as a Pre Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer, where they bring their technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support sales efforts and provide innovative solutions to clients.

Throughout their career, Iain has consistently demonstrated their ability to work with diverse clients, manage projects, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.

Iain Hay completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Systems from Nottingham Trent University from the years 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Bordeaux International School from 2004 to 2006, and Park House from 1999 to 2004. The degree name and field of study from the latter two schools are not provided.
