Jeff Jasper

Jeff Jasper has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning various positions and companies. Jeff is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Research at Terns Pharmaceuticals since December 2021. Prior to this, Jeff worked at Rubedo Life Sciences as the Vice President of Drug Discovery from January 2020 to December 2021. Jeff also held the position of Executive Director of Research Science at Merck from June 2017 to January 2020. Additionally, Jeff worked as the Vice President of Preclinical Sciences at REVOLUTION Medicines from August 2015 to May 2017. Jeff co-founded Altos Therapeutics in 2011 and served as a consultant until March 2017. Jeff also held positions at ALDEA Pharma, Cytokinetics, ARYx Therapeutics, Theravance, and Roche Palo Alto, where they gained expertise in pharmacology, research, project leadership, and clinical development.

Jeff Jasper has a B.S. in Chemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Jeff also holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine. Additionally, they have done postdoctoral fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology/Molecular & Cellular Biology at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
