Alexandre MacEdo

Alexandre Macedo has over 30 years of work experience in finance and supply chain management. Alexandre started their career at Eaton Corporation in 1987, where they held various roles in financial planning and costing. Later, they worked at Wheaton Plastics as a Costing & Budgeting Manager, overseeing finance, accounting, and tax functions. At Baxter International Inc., they served as a Financial Planning Manager, responsible for FP&A activities. Alexandre then joined Amcor Rigid Plastics, first as a Controller managing controlling, reporting, and financial planning activities, and later as a Supply Chain Director, overseeing procurement, production planning, and logistics. Currently, Macedo is working at TERPHANE as a Finance Director, leading financial functions and supporting business growth.

Alexandre obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Faculdades Integradas Senador Fláquer, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed an Accounting Technician program at Colégio Anchieta SBC from 1988 to 1990.

In terms of postgraduate education, Alexandre completed a Post Graduation in Accounting and Finance at Centro Universitário Padre Anchieta from 2003 to 2004. Alexandre also pursued an MBA in Financial Management & Controlling at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they attended from 2005 to 2007.

Furthermore, Alexandre has obtained several executive education certifications. In 2016, they completed the "Embedding Strategic Excellence" program with Columbia Business School. In 2017, they completed the "Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility" program with the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. In 2018, they completed the "Leading Innovative Change" program with UC Berkeley. In 2019, they completed the "Leading Customer-Centric Growth" program with the Wharton School. In 2020, they completed the "Leading Effective Decision-Making" program with Yale School of Management. Most recently, in 2022, they completed the "Leading with Data and Analytics" program with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
