Cornel Jacobs

Cornel Jacobs is an experienced boilermaker with a diverse background in engineering and mechanical maintenance. Currently employed at Terra Mining Pty Ltd since May 2024, Cornel also worked at Goldmont Engineering from February 2022 to May 2024, focusing on bucket repair, fabrication, and welding. Previous positions include involvement in oil and gas projects at Africa Fuel Projects and a manufacturing position at PMSA Group of Companies. Cornel has extensive expertise in overhead crane maintenance, boiler operations, and plant equipment management while leading a team at Everite NUTEC for over a decade. Additional experience includes managing production and quality control as a shift manager at ArcelorMittal and serving as a workshop foreman at AZAM Engineering.
