Jorge Perez

Jorge Perez is a geoscientist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at Terracon Geotechnique Ltd. since June 2021, Jorge specializes in core logging, well installations, and sedimentological core descriptions within the Oil Sands area. Previously, Jorge worked as a Data Management Specialist at Suncor Energy, supporting extraction operations. From January 2012 to June 2017, Jorge served as a geomodeller and reservoir geologist at Baker Hughes Reservoir Development Services, focusing on 3D geological modeling. Early career experience includes a role as a reservoir geologist and sedimentologist at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., where Jorge was involved in heavy oil reservoir characterization and model development. Jorge holds a Bachelor’s degree in geology from Universidad de Oriente and additional education from the University of Alberta.
