Lateef Assi

Lateef Assi, PhD, PE, PMP, LEED, currently serves as the Quality Control Manager and Authorized Project Reviewer at Terracon, overseeing quality control for the Materials Service Line. Previously, Lateef held various leadership and engineering roles, including Construction Materials Department Manager and Senior Project Manager at Terracon, Structural Engineer at Libittu Construction, and multiple academic positions at Mazaya University College and the University of South Carolina. Lateef's academic contributions include teaching courses in concrete design and structural analysis while also engaging in research related to health structure monitoring with NASA. With extensive experience in managing engineering projects, supervising academic departments, and conducting structural analyses, Lateef holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Structural and Material Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
