Sean Wilson is the Founder and CEO of TerraFixing, a company dedicated to addressing carbon dioxide emissions and combating global warming. With a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering, including a Ph.D. and two master's degrees from the University of Ottawa, Sean has garnered extensive experience in both teaching and research. Previous roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant for laboratory courses and a Research Associate focused on biodiesel analysis, as well as practical experience as an Assistant Machinist at Fineline Manufacturing Inc. Sean’s work emphasizes the importance of sustainable practices and the responsibility to ensure a livable planet for future generations.

TerraFixing
TerraFixing is a Canadian company that has developed the only Direct Air Carbon Capture (DAC) technology for capturing CO₂ in cold dry climates. Our IP protected process efficiently captures CO₂ in cold dry climates, using proven materials and machinery. Needing only five unit operations (vs. 9 - 22), we reduce both capital and operating costs to achieve the lowest DAC cost on the market. Our adsorption-based technology is designed to be mobile, fitting within a shipping container with only one input (renewable electrical energy) and one output (pure CO₂). By strategically locating our DAC solution in ideal locations with cold and dry climates, proximity to sequestration sites, and access to underutilized clean and affordable energy sources, we achieve the lowest $/tCO₂ – a real solution to climate change.
