Lucie Nurdin

Lucie Nurdin is a skilled chemical engineer currently working at Terraform Industries since December 2022, focusing on the design of Terraformers that convert atmospheric CO2 into natural gas. Prior to this role, Lucie served as a Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate at Caltech from March 2021 to December 2022, where iron-based electrocatalysts for ammonia synthesis were developed. Lucie completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Calgary, where significant research included the design of earth-abundant metal complexes and collaboration with international research groups, leading to the publication of four first-author peer-reviewed articles. Academic credentials also include multiple degrees from Ecole normale supérieure, culminating in a Master II in Chemistry. Lucie has participated in numerous international conferences and has experience mentoring students at different educational levels.
