Rick Lovenduski has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Rick started their career as a Management/Engineering Consultant at MidAmerican Energy Company in 2007 and then moved on to Alliant Energy as an Operations Manager in 2008. In 2010, they joined EDP Renewables North America as a Senior Operations Manager. From 2011 to 2016, Rick worked as a Renewable Energy Consultant at RPL Consulting & Development. Currently, they hold the position of Regional Operations Manager at TerraForm Power since 2016.
Rick Lovenduski attended the State University of New York Institute of Technology from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including OSHA 30 General Industry Safety and Health, Certified Environmental Specialist, EPCRA - Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act, RCRA - Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, SPCC - Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure, Spill Prevention and Release Reporting, OSHA 30 Construction Safety and Health, Amsoil Wind Turbine Gearbox Oil Change-outs, Generator Laser Alignment, Pad Mount Transformer Switching, Substation Operations & Safety, Confined Space, Hazard Communication, LOTO - Lockout Tag-out, GE 1.5 MW Wind Turbine Frequency Converter Commissioning, and GE 1.5 MW Wind Turbine Commissioning.
